great strolls and views just steps away from the hotel
I enjoyed the fantastic location right in the heart of Marlow, with the beautiful River Thames just a short stroll away, and the vibrant eateries like The Ivy Marlow Garden practically at my doorstep, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. the room was small but very comfortable and convenient for a single traveler, even though the bathroom could benefit from a deeper clean.

The room felt compact, though that’s not a dealbreaker for me. however, the bathroom clearly needed some attention – mould creeping around the shower tray and some questionable cleaning standards. I counted only four hangers in the wardrobe, with one practically falling apart. The breakfast options could've used some lighter items, as a fruity alternative would have been appreciated during the summer heat. Despite leaving the 'make up my room' sign outside, it was ignored, forcing me to chase after toiletries myself. A little disappointingly, a shower in disarray and an unmanaged bin added to the frustration. the experience felt like it could benefit from a solid clean-up and some small tweaks.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
The location is conveniently situated right on the high street, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local shops after a delightful meal. My King Room was uniquely decorated, offering an inviting and comfortable retreat after a busy day. To top it all off, the pub downstairs had a warm atmosphere with craft beers and a buzzing vibe that made for a perfect nightcap!

We checked in early without a hitch and enjoyed the spacious King room with some lovely Bramble Toiletries that made our stay feel special. There’s a cozy lounge and a lovely garden area to unwind in after a day of exploring. Just a heads-up, it got a bit noisy from the pub below on Thursday night, but it didn’t ruin our time! 😊

I had a delightful stay! The central location made exploring Marlow a breeze, with everything just a short walk away. My room was clean and quiet. The pub below was a cozy and unexpected highlight. I genuinely miss its warm atmosphere and friendly service.
The room was a bit dark due to a tree outside.

The food was a real highlight, scrumptious dishes like Tom Kerridge's delights up the road make this a foodie's dream. The atmosphere in the pub was buzzing, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff were super friendly and genuinely made us feel at home.
That kitchen extractor fan was a bit of a party pooper, and though the high-street location is fab, it had its fair share of late-night revelers too.

missingWrote a review on Jul 23cozy pubdelicious roastscleanliness issues
The cozy pub ambiance delivers a warm environment to unwind after a day of exploring. Delicious Sunday roasts provide a satisfying treat, making the dining experience memorable.
The room's cleanliness left something to be desired. there were remnants of hair in the shower and old toothpaste in the sink, making it less than ideal for a fresh start. maneuvering up narrow stairs could be a daunting challenge with mobility issues, so keep that in mind if you enjoy a hassle-free entry. The boiler struggled to keep up with demand, leading to cold showers after a long day, which is really not what you need when you're ready to relax.
